We are super excited to celebrate with you, especially when neither of us thought this day would come. To make this night successful and efficient, we want to share some info to make it smoother! Please see below.

Everyone's favorite! We will have 4 hours of open bar available through the 6-hour reception. This means that there will be no alcohol served during the entertainment part of the evening, from 7pm – 8pm, and the last 30 minutes from 11:30pm-12:00am. We ask that you please drink responsibly and get home safely.

Entertainment will be a departure from the usual wedding performances some may be used to. We instead would like to play games so it’s more interactive! We will be playing a wedding scavenger hunt with the family, bridal party and whomever would like to volunteer. If you are interested, please make sure to let us know!

Portraits will be taken for each party and of course shared once available. To do this in orderly fashion, we will call you by table to come get your photos taken. We kindly ask that you respect the effort that we are making to be as efficient and organized as possible. We will make announcements before dinner starts.

We are so excited to share this significant milestone with all of our loved ones. Please join us to celebrate our Wedding Reception. In this site, you will find any information that may be necessary. If there are any more questions, you can use the chat feature on this website or text us.
Our wedding reception will be at Ashyana Banquets at1620 75th St, Downers Grove, IL 60516; on the corner of 75th Street and Lemont Road. You can get there via 355 North or South via Exit 15 for 75th Street.
We will celebrate on Saturday August 1st, 2026 at 6pm CT.
You can share photos to our existing Google Photos album.
Formal wear is preferred for our celebration. This can include Cocktail Chic, Gala Glam, Desi or Indo-Western Glam, for women. For men, this can include suit jacket, tie, slacks, collared shirt, or Indian formal. Our color scheme is Purple and Blue, should you want to coordinate (not required)! Please feel free to express yourself in whatever color and style you prefer; we want you to look/feel your best.
We will have a combination of North Indian food and American Food. The Indian food will be all Pure Vegetarian (no eggs, no meat) and consist of a combination of paneer, curry, rice, lentils, and eggless naan.

If you or anyone in your party have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please indicate so in your RSVP. There should be a question in your invite inquiring. Ensure to answer the question, if any, for each member of your party.
Nope! Everything will be provided for you. Please do not bring any boxed gifts to the event as there will not be a designated space for them.
